Awana is our Midweek Children's Program. It is a program that makes memorizing the Word of God fun for children. Awards are earned by completing sections in a handbook. The fact is, getting Scripture into the hearts and minds of our children impacts them both now and for the rest of their lives. Awana is from 6:30pm-8:00pm on Wednesdays and is for 3yr-5th grade. There is also nursery (0-2) available for those attending a Calvary midweek class/group.
Elementary Awana (K-5th) is divided into three parts each night. Large Group time where kids sing and learn a Bible story, game time where kids play team games around the Awana circle and verse time where kids recite verses to their leaders. Awana meets from August-May with a break during the month of December. Awana's 2nd semester starts January 14.
